Recipe: Green Smoothie


This is an amazingly refreshing way to start the day! It’s loaded with nutrients and is a great way to get your vegetable serves up in the morning and you won’t even taste them. My kids also love this one!

PS. It’s great for breakfast but I often have this as a snack if I’m looking for something light and refreshing.

Green Smoothie with LSA (Serves 1)

  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1 stalk celery
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 green apple
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tsp LSA (ground Linseed, Sunflower and Almonds)
  • 1 tsp spirulina (optional)
  • Handful of ice

Place all ingredients in a high powered blend and blend till smooth. Serve immediately in a tall glass.
